Laman ini direka khas untuk guru pelatih Maktab Perguruan Sandakan. Tujuan utama laman ini diwujudkan ialah untuk menyediakan saluran bantuan siber demi memantapkan lagi proses pembelajaran ilmu pendidikan. Selain itu, guru-guru pelatih yang menjalankan praktikum di merata kawasan Sabah dapat berkomunikasi dengan pensyarah-pensyarah JIP MPSS untuk mendapatkan panduan dan nasihat.

Introduction to the course:Current Issues in education

Upon completing EDU 646, I should be able to:
-understand the National Education Policy and Philosophy
-appreciate, appraise and critically reflect on the malaysian Education System
-appreciate and describe the ASEAN education system
-appraise current issues in education and relate to the malaysian society and tha melaysian education scene.
-examine and critically relate to the contemporary global issues and perspectives in education.

the grading policies for this subject is:
30%-mini research ( this research may utilize interview, observation or survey to solicit findings on the issues)
30% -Group project (based on the chosen issues under various topics in education)
20%-reflective critical report ( reflective essays with learning theories and concept)
20%-Movie Critique (critique concerned in relation to educational issues and dynamics)

in order to completing this course, I have to work on four different topic , four write up , and STRIVES for this four assessment.
